Pool Tables by Size

Pool tables differentiate when it comes to size. Generally, 6 foot pool tables are the bottom level, with 9 foot pool tables being the top level. As you get bigger from 6 footers to 9 footers, you will find the price tag generally increases as size increases, as well. This is because more materials must go into a larger table. A larger table requires more construction.

What does pool table size mean to me?

Are you near or far sighted? Any troubles looking down the table? If you want to become a pro, you either buy a regulation sized table, or a 9 foot pool table. The explanation for this is simple: if you can make a length-wise table shot on a 9 foot table, you can do it even easier on a smaller one. If you practice on a regulation table always, you will have no surprises come tournament time.
